Privacy Policy

Get Superstars, Inc., a Delaware corporation (hereinafter, “Superstars”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides its services (described below) to you through its website located at www.superstars.co or https://superstars.co (collectively, hereinafter the “Site”) and through its mobile applications, software, web services owned, controlled, or offered by Superstars now or in the future, and through any other related online and/or mobile services (collectively, such services, including any new features and applications, and the Site, hereinafter shall be referred to as the “Service(s)”). All audio, videos, pictures, images, graphics, photographs, logos, icons, information, data, text, software, music, sound, messages, profile information, or other materials that is uploaded, submitted, posted, published, provided, displayed, or otherwise made available via the Service or onto the Service (hereinafter, collectively referred to as “content”) is hereby incorporated by reference to be included as part of the Service, and together with the features, shall collectively hereinafter be referred to as the “Service(s)”.

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter, the “Privacy Policy”) governs your access to the Services and explains how we collect, use, safeguard, disclose, and otherwise process information that results from your use of our Service, subject to the Terms of Service (hereinafter, the “Terms”). Any individual that views, visits, uses, accesses, browses, submits, or engages with the Services in any way, shape, or form (hereinafter, “user”, “User”) is hereby subject to the Privacy Policy, even if no Account (defined in the Terms) is created and/or registered with us. When you are the User and you are viewing, visiting, using, accessing, browsing, submitting, or engaging with the Services in any way (hereinafter, “you”, “You”), the term “you” or “You” shall refer to you and you alone, as applicable throughout the Privacy Policy. By accessing or using the Service, or by clicking a button or checking a box marked “I Agree” (or something similar) during the new account registration process, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy, even if you are not a registered user of our Service.

This Privacy Policy does not cover or address personal information and privacy practices relating to job applicants, employees, and other personnel. We may choose or be required by law to provide different or additional disclosures relating to the processing of personal information about residents of certain countries, regions, or states. Since we may gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand our Privacy Policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This Privacy Policy discloses what information we gather and how we use it. The private information you provide on the Services will be used only for its intended purpose. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms.   1. DEFINITIONS

    Personal Data

    means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession, or likely to come into our possession).

    Usage Data

    is data collected automatically, either generated by the use of Service or from Service infrastructure itself (i.e. the duration of a page visit).

    Cookies

Sometimes we collect Personal Information and Non-Personal Information automatically when you interact with our Services, and sometimes we collect the Personal Information directly from you. At times, we may collect Personal Information and Non-Personal Information about you from other sources and third parties, even before our first direct interaction.

    Personal Information means while using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information about you that specifically identifies you or, when combined with other information we have, can be used to contact you or identify you (hereinafter, “Personal Information”, “Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to: Email address, First Name and Last Name, Cookies, and Usage Data.

    As a general rule, we do not collect Personal Information about you when you visit and/or use the Services, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Submitting Personal Information through the Services is voluntary. By doing so, you are giving us your permission and consent to use the Personal Information for the stated purpose.

You may opt-out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by emailing us at our email address designated in Contact Us or by following the unsubscribe link.

    1. Legal basis for collecting your Personal Information

      We collect, process, and use your Personal Information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, based at least on one of the following legal grounds:

      1. With your consent

        We ask for your agreement to process your Personal Information for specific purposes and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

      2. When performing this Agreement

        We collect and process your Personal Information in order to:

        1. provide you with the Services, following your acceptance of this Privacy Policy;

        3. to develop new services and features for our Users; and

    2. Personal Information we collect and how we collect information

      Through the Services, we may collect personally identifiable information that can identify you when you voluntarily submit it to us. Your Personal Information may include:

      1. Full Name;
      2. Address;
      3. Email address;
      4. Phone number;
      5. Demographic data (such as age, gender, zip code);
      6. Date of birth, year of birth, and/or month of birth; and
      7. Other similar information.
    3. Storage of Personal Information

      We will take reasonable precautions, as well as physical, technical, and organizational measures in accordance with industry standards, as described herein, to protect your Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Computer safeguards, such as firewalls and data encryption, may be used to protect your information. We authorize access to your Personal Information only for those employees or agents who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities, and these individuals are required to treat this information as confidential.

      The security of information on the Internet or transmitted via the Internet cannot be guaranteed. Unauthorized entry of use, hardware or software failures, and other factors may compromise the security of your Personal Information. All information you send to us electronically or through email is not secure. Any transmission is at your own risk as the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure.

  4. PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

    We collect the following Personal Information you provide in connection with our Services:

    1. Contact Information.

      We may receive information such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, username, and password when you communicate with us through the Services, contact us, create an account, sign up to our marketing emails, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey, or otherwise communicate with us. We may also collect any communications between you and Superstars, and any other information you provide to us.

    2. Profile Information.

      When you create a user profile on the Services, you are able to provide us with information including, but not limited to, your education, work experience, employment status, skills, social account URLs, profile photo, and biography. Profile information is optional. For the avoidance of doubt, you hereby agree, acknowledge, and accept that ALL profile information you fill out is visible by other users of the Service.

    3. User Content and Interactions through the Services.

      We collect information about how you use the Services, your actions on the Services, and content you post to the Services, including the groups you belong to, your interaction with your connections on the Services, photos and videos you post to the Services, portfolio examples, comments on blog posts or reviews of our products, and any content you provide including through emails, in-app messages, chat, or other functionality. To share photos and videos, we will access your device camera roll and camera with your permission. If you need to update your permissions, you can do so in the “Settings” app of your device.

    4. Comments, Suggestions, Chat, and Opinions.

      When you contact us directly (e.g. by email, phone, mail, or by completing an online form or participating in online chat), we will record your comments and opinions. We will also record comments and opinions you express when responding to surveys, entering a sweepstakes, or taking part in promotions we run.

    5. Address Book Information.

      With your permission, Superstars may access your contact list available on your mobile device or your email accounts, so that you can locate your contacts on the Services and invite your contacts to connect with our Services. When we send the invitation to join the Services, we may include your name and photo to let them know that you are the person extending the invitation. After sending these invitations, we may also send reminder emails to your invitees on your behalf, which may also include your name and photo.

  5. NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED

    We collect and temporarily store certain information about your usage of the Services. Non-Personal Information means information that alone cannot identify you, including data such as cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and device information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device (hereinafter, “Non-Personal Information”, “Usage Data”). Non-Personal Information includes, without limitation:

    1. Device Data

      We may collect information such as, but not limited to:

      1. the type of computer and/or mobile device you use;
      2. the unique device ID of your computer and/or mobile device;
      3. the Internet Protocol address (IP address) of your computer and/or mobile device;
      4. the operating system of your computer and/or mobile device;
      5. the type of internet browser of your computer and/or mobile device;
      6. the browser version of your computer and/or mobile device;
      7. unique device identifiers; and
      8. other diagnostic data.
    2. Usage details

      When you access and use the Services, we may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of the Services, including but limited to:

      1. traffic data;
      2. location data;
      3. logs and other communication data;
      4. the resources that you access and use on or through the Services;
      5. the pages of our Service that you visit;
      6. the time and date of your visit;
      7. the time spent on those pages;
      8. unique device identifiers; and
      9. other diagnostic data.
    3. Location information

      When you first visit or use the Services, we may request permission to collect and use your device’s precise geolocation. You can opt not to permit the collection of this information, but you may not be able to use the Services provided by Superstars without access to your location. We need your location information in order to provide our Services. You can control how and whether we collect your precise geolocation information through the “Settings” app of your device.

    4. Other information

      We collect certain information automatically when you visit our Services, including:

      1. Log File Data, including your IP address, operating system, browser type, browser ID, date/time of visit, and pages visited;
      2. Analytics Data, including the electronic path you take to our Services, through our Services and when exiting our Services, as well as your usage and activity on our Services, such as the links and objects you view, click, or otherwise interact with (also known as “Clickstream Data”); and
      3. Location Data, including your general geographic location based on your IP address or more precise location when accessing our Services through a mobile device.

      While using our Service, we may also collect the following information, including but not limited to: sex, age, date of birth, place of birth, passport details, citizenship, registration at place of residence and actual address, telephone number (work, mobile), details of documents on education, qualification, professional training, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, information on bonuses and compensation, information on marital status, family members, social security (or other taxpayer identification) number, office location, and other data. We may use any and all information that has been de-identified and/or aggregated to better understand who uses our Services and how we can deliver a better experience, or otherwise, at our discretion.

      If you do not want us to collect this information, you may either change your device’s privacy settings or DO NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.
